Whenever Leia did something bad and there was irrefutable, immediately recognizable evidence (like a puddle on the floor), we would point to it and say, "What's this, Leia?" She would immediately get into a deeply apologetic pose that very effectively endeared her to you. You could therefore not help but forgive her, but we tried not to let her off the hook too soon.
